Where readers gather and stories grow.
Brook is a new way to publish: readers fund the stories they want to see in the world.
Just stories, just community, early access.

250 readers gather around one idea, and a new book begins.
Every Brook book begins with a spark, a story a reader wants to bring into the world. Send in your idea, or find one already gathering readers. Galia reads every one.
A 60-day campaign opens and readers pledge $35 each. At 250 backers the book is greenlit and the writing begins. Every pledge is a vote that this story deserves to be born, and it keeps new ideas flowing.
A commissioned writer begins the manuscript and shares updates with backers as they write. When the draft is done, editing begins.
Backers vote between two cover options, then every name goes in the back of the book, anonymously if you prefer. You get a free e-book link and a discount on the printed edition.

Traditional publishing treats books like commodities. Crowdfunding treats them like products. At Brook, we treat them like stories waiting to be told. We believe the best books come from connection, not just transactions.
Why write in isolation? On Brook, readers do not just buy a finished book, they help shape it. Cover voting, early discounted access, backer names listed at the back of the book. It is a collaborative journey from the first draft to the final page.
We do not chase trends or algorithms. We chase feelings. If a story finds its people, that is enough. A book does not need a market, it needs a community. If 250 people believe in a story enough to back it, that is all the validation needed.

Galia Sabbag, founder of Brook

Brook began with a whisper, a calling to write children's stories. Once they reached readers, something happened: people began asking for stories that did not exist yet.
Their requests were gentle but persistent, like pebbles dropped into water. Each one made a ripple.
Those ripples formed a river. Brook.Read Galia's full story

“Finding books here feels different. You're not just buying a product. You're helping a dream come true. That connection is magic.”
“The transparency is refreshing. Seeing exactly where the funds go and watching the cover art evolve was such a fun journey.”
When you back a book with a $35 pledge, you are helping bring a story into the world. Pledges are non-refundable, even if a campaign does not reach 250 readers, but your support never disappears. If a book does not move forward, your pledge stays with Brook, helping future authors, future ideas, and the next story that sparks our community. Every dollar keeps the lights on for the books that deserve to be born.
